Established in February 1993, BIOP has broad experience working in the area of clinical trials, with large and small
pharmaceutical companies. Our experience in the design, data management, analysis and report writing of clinical studies
(both national and international) covers many therapeutic areas. BIOP Biometrical Practice AG Announces Joint Venture with Genesis BioPharma Group 26 August 2009. BIOP Biometrical Practice AG announces conclusion of an agreement with Genesis BioPharma Group to work together in the areas of biostatistics, health economics, data management, clinical programming, clinical trial design and hosting support for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. BIOP CEO Michael Pickering said he was "delighted" at the new collaboration, which would "enable us to expand our horizons both geographically and professionally, into Health Economics and related areas, while retaining our commitment to rigorous standards in analytics and data management". Genesis BioPharma Group provides services in drug development, health economics and regulatory affairs worldwide from its headquarters in New York and Basel, Switzerland. The company has facilities for managing and performing clinical studies from Phase I to IV (including a new dedicated clinical research facility) and Late Phase specialization in registries, consulting and medical education.
